This is a great herd of dairy cattle which feature animals which display width and strength, well attached udders, legs and feet and are of an ideal type for modern dairy milk production. The herd follows an all year round calving pattern, with 140 having calved since January including 80 fresh in the last 3 months, plus 60 due to calve between June and August. They are youthful both in appearance and age, with some 100 milking in their 1st lactation, 70 with their second and 50 third calvers. Fed on a Semi-TMR diet based on grass silage (no maize), Trafford Syrup and blend, topped up with concentrate in the parlour. Milked twice daily, cubicle housed during the winter. Bulk samples 4.15% 3.36% CC 102. Vaccinated for IBR. 4yr TB parish. A genuine dispersal of very good dairy cattle.
